2026 RATES

Microrealism is a slow going, detail driven process. Each piece is created with patience, precision, and deep attention to detail. Working at this scale requires focus, care, and a steady hand, making it one of the most time intensive tattoo styles.

I rely heavily on size when quoting a tattoo. The size estimates below are averages meant to provide general guidance, but session length may vary depending on the final details of your project. Factors such as design complexity, size, placement, pain tolerance, and skin condition all affect timing. Multiples/Patchwork: If you have multiple microrealism concepts in mind, booking a few at a time can be the most cost effective solution.

June 2026 Update: I have recently switched back to hourly rates! A full day session is 10:30am until 5pm, during which 5 - 6 hours of tattooing can often be completed depending on the flow of the session. Rates for full day sessions cap at 5 hours. The timer starts once you have finished filling out the consent form. The timer ends when the tattoo is complete, before photos and payment.

ESTIMATES BASED ON SIZE:

under 2” (5 square inches or less): 1-3 hours

2” - 4” (5-15 square inches): 2-4 hours

4”- 6” (15-25 square inches): 3-5 hours

6” - 8” (25 - 35 square inches): 5-7 hours (1 - 1.5 full day sessions)

8” - 10” (35 - 45 square inches): 7-10 hours (1.5 - 2 full day sessions)

50 square inches or more: I don’t often book large scale work like this. Please contact me for a personalized estimate

Full Pricing Transparency

My bookings are quoted hourly with a full day rate pricing cap at 5 hours. Tattooing involves extensive work behind the scenes: booking and scheduling, drawing and designing, revisions, equipment and supplies, administrative work, studio rent, and other ongoing business expenses. For custom work, often the design takes just as long to create as it does to actually tattoo. My rates are priced to cover not only the actual tattoo session, but everything else required to provide a safe, comfortable, and high quality experience from start to finish. All rates are firm and are not subject to negotiation. This allows me to dedicate the same level of care, craftsmanship, and attention to detail to every client and every piece. There is a one hour minimum for all bookings.

Edit: Pricing has been updated in July 2026. All projects already booked will remain as quoted when scheduled.

*hst NOT included

ALL tattoos are subject to 13% in sales tax, paid in full on the day of your appointment. A quote will be given to you and a deposit will be required before any appointment is confirmed. Your deposit will be deducted from the total of your tattoo after taxes on the day of your appointment.
